High above the central plains, hidden in the misty mountains,
lies the Compass Gate...
-WORLD.TXT of The Compass from V-Chat 1.1
A monolithic compass standing within a vast void of spires. A pyramid the color of the distant fog floats above the center.
It exudes a mysterious atmosphere that keeps one thinking: Is there more to this place I just don't understand...?
You can enter the floating pyramid and hang out in its red interior, but there is otherwise nothing remarkable about it.
A good replacement for the default Homespace, which makes sense considering it was the original V-Chat homespace back in V-Chat 1.1!
In-World Links
Clicking on the rotating piece of abstract art in the center would take you to
The Red Den.
Clicking on the animated fish would take you to
The Lodge, as opposed to The Fishbowl as it depicts - This link may have been changed since the original Microsoft upload of the Compass.
Clicking on the "Portal to Lobby" sign would take you, naturally, to
The V-Chat Lobby.
Clicking on the slab with a sun and key depicted on it would take you to
The Waterhole.
The V-Chat logo leads nowhere, but is a clickable space for users to put a custom link. Potentially linked to the V-Chat website at some point, but this link may also have changed since the original Microsoft upload of the Compass.

Additional Notes/Information
There is a piece of abstract art roughly in the middle of the Compass, its texture files listed as MIRO1 through MIRO4, named after the abstract artist Joan Miro. It is as of yet unkown if it is based on a specific Miro piece, or just inspired by the style.
